What is a CP (cluster pack) bag for bananas?

A cluster bag — often written CP bag — is a perforated polyethylene bag that holds one retail cluster of 3–6 bananas. It is printed with the brand, PLU or variety and sealed in the packhouse, so the fruit arrives at the supermarket ready for the shelf. Fuxing prints cluster bags in up to 8 colours for Sumifru, Unifrutti, 7-Eleven Philippines and Sunpride programs.

What is the difference between a polybag liner and a bunch cover?

A polybag (polipack) liner goes inside the 13.5 kg or 18.14 kg export carton to keep humidity around the hands and slow moisture loss during 3–5 weeks of ocean transit; vacuum-pack versions extend green life further. A bunch cover (funda de racimo) is a perforated, often blue or transparent, field bag placed over the bunch on the plant to protect the fruit from insects, sunburn and scarring during the 10–12 weeks before harvest.

Which film gauge should we specify?

Cluster bags typically run 25–35 µm LDPE/LLDPE with micro- or macro-perforation for airflow; carton liners run heavier, usually 30–50 µm, with perforation patterns matched to your ripening protocol; bunch covers are light-gauge perforated LDPE. Can you ship banana bags to Ecuador, Costa Rica or Colombia?

Yes. We ship FOB from the Philippines, China or Vietnam to Guayaquil, Puerto Bolívar, Limón, Moín, Turbo, Santa Marta and Cartagena. Typical ocean transit is 30–45 days, so exporters order on a 60–90 day horizon. Bags can share a container with cartons to cut freight per box.

What is the minimum order?

Typically one pallet per bag design or size, and we consolidate several designs — plus cartons — in one 20' or 40' container. Free samples of existing designs ship within 3–7 days; custom print proofs are approved digitally before production.
